What a victory this is for West Indies. Excellent cricket from them. No one would have expected them to win it so comprehensively.

    They deserve it!

  • 11:30 PM IST

West Indies have won the game by 106 runs. Safraz Ahmed is the last man dismissed

  • 11:28 PM IST

That is 5th wicket for Shanon Gabriel. A back of a length delivery from Gabriel – one that keeps low and Yasir missed it completely and his off stump is uprooted

  • 11:15 PM IST

So finally the wicket West Indies were hoping for. And who better than Gabriel to take Aamer. Gabriel tempts Aamer with full and outside off and Aamer falls in the trap. Slashes it hard and straight to Vishaul Singh at backward point

  • 11:09 PM IST

This is turning out to be a Pakistan session. Sarfraz Ahmed and Mohammad Aamer have counterattacked and runs are flowing for the visitors. This stand for the 8th wicket has gone up to 42 runs from 51 deliveries.

West Indies need to do something here or this game will slip out of their hands even before they know. The target is not a big one and the way runs are coming easy for Pakistan, the pressure has shifted on West Indies.

It’s time to get spinners and give the pacers much-required rest I think!

  • 10:54 PM IST

This is the innings from Sarfraz that people will talk about for a long time says my editor!

  • 10:53 PM IST

This is the moment where Pakistan have decided to counterattack and put pressure on West Indies. Aamer was just dropped at first slip off Joseph’s bowling.

West Indies need to make these chances count if they want to win this. Sarfraz has given clear intentions that he won’t defend anymore and is looking to hit everything.

  • 10:48 PM IST

  • 10:29 PM IST

This is becoming too easy for West Indies. They have lost the 7th wicket. The scrambled seam for Holder and Shadab Khan pokes at it with no feet movement at all. Easy take for Dowrich

  • 10:24 PM IST

    Precarious times for Pakistan!

  • 10:24 PM IST

GONE! Ahmed Shehzad’s struggle has ended. Pinned down in pads by Alzarri Joseph. This is the one that kept low, very low indeed. Angled in sharply from outside off by Joseph. Shehzad tried to get his bat down but was late and umpire raises his hand instantly. Pakistan did go for a review, but this one would have clipped the leg stump.

  • 10:15 PM IST

So the post lunch session begins and also the test for Pakistan. Will Ahmed Shehzad and Sarfraz Ahmed do the impossible?

If you ask me, I’d say NO!

  • 9:19 PM IST

This is great bowling from West Indies!

  • 9:19 PM IST

And 3 deliveries later, Asad Shafiq has been caught in the third slip by Powell. There was a late movement and the ball hit the seam causing Shafiq to play at it. But gets beaten in the movement and edges it to Powell who juggles it before catching hold of the ball

  • 9:17 PM IST

BIG BIG BIG BIG wicket! Pakistan have lost Misbah-ul-Haq. West Indies reviewed it for lbw but umpirew turns it down. The reply shows there was a big inside edge before the ball hit the pads. But the ball was gobbled up by Hope at gully. The ball came in and nipped back sharply yet again, and Misbah is caught in the crease. He looked to defend but inside edge and caught at gully.

  • 8:54 PM IST

Younis Khan is OUT! Jason Holder has got the all important wicket of the Pakistani veteran., It was a length delivery from Holder which nipped back sharply from outside off to middle and leg. Younis shuffled in the crease but was beaten in the movement and also the height. Umpire gave him out straight away, but Younis opted for a review PLUMB. The replay showed the ball would have hit the leg stump and that is BIG BIG wicket!

  • 8:28 PM IST

Justa as I was saying, a wicket by either of these two will open up the game. and yes they have. But West Indies still cannot feel like they have achieved their primary target. They still need 8 wickets to win this game and most importantly, they need wickets of Misbah and Younis.

These two are only who can take Pakistan to victory I guess

  • 8:21 PM IST

The second wicket Babar Azam is out. Alzarri Joseph bowls it down the leg side to Babar who tries working it down to fine leg but fails to connect and Dowrich takes a comfortable catch behind the stumps.

  • 8:20 PM IST

Shannon Gabriel has inflicted the first damage here. Short delivery to Azhar who tries to put it over the fielder at midwicket. But fails to connect and finds Hetmyer who takes it easily diving to his left.

    Excellent start from West Ondies

  • 8:10 PM IST

Shannon Gabriel, Alzarri Joseph – these two will have a major role to play in this first session. If any of these two get a wicket or two here, West Indies will put huge pressure on Pakistan

  • 7:48 PM IST

  • 7:48 PM IST

  • 7:47 PM IST

So Azhar Ali and Ahmed Shehzad have begun the proceedings for Pakistan with Shannon Gabriel with the new ball.

This is going to be a tricky chase for Pakistan. Given the way they batted in the first innings, Team Misbah have a tough task and let’s not forget that this is the Day 5 pitch.

  • 7:40 PM IST

Poor shot selection from Bishoo I reckon. Should have waited for sometime and taken his time around. But nevertheless, it is definitely going to be a tough chase for Pakistan

  • 7:38 PM IST

So the West Indies have been bowled out for 268. They would have hoped for at least more 13-14 runs before getting bowled out.

  • 7:34 PM IST

And that its from West Indies. Yasir Shah gets 7th wicket. He bowls it outside off and Bishoo tries to take the aerial l route but fins Azhar Ali at mid off

  • 7:31 PM IST

They are ahead by 183 runs at the moment, with last pair of Devendra Bishoo (16)* and Shannon Gabriel (0)* at the crease. The story so far has been that the hosts won the toss and opted to bat first. Roston Chase’s 131 and Jason Holder’s 58 took them to 312, before Pakistan crawled their way to 393 in their first innings. Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq registered score of 99 in successive innings. This time though, he was dismissed. Azhar Ali meanwhile got his 13th Test ton.

Trailing by 81, West Indies have managed to reach at 264 for 9 at Stumps on Day Four. Shai Hope was the top scorer for them with his fine knock of 90. For the visitors, Yasir Shah spun his web and picked up 6 wickets. In fact it was his spell that reduced West Indies from 235 for 4 to 261 for 9.

The game for now is tilted in Pakistan’s favour. If they win on the final day, they will also pocket the series. West Indies, on the other hand, will play to salvage some pride and save the series.
