Ola! Welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the 20-over tour match between Hong Kong and Pakistanis at Dubai. Two tour matches are scheduled to be played before the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series between Pakistan and England kicks off on November 26, with the first game to be played again at Dubai. The second tour match is scheduled during the second half of the day which will be played between England XI and United Arab Emirates. After losing the three-match Test series 2-0, the visitors bounced back with an excellent 3-1 victory in the four-match One-Day International series.

Hong Kong were 63 for 3 and from there the visitors lost six next wickets in a span of just 38 runs to give the obvious result of Pakistanis easily winning the fixture. Only Mark Chapman showed some fight with his 50 from 39 deliveries.

After delivering a magnificent performance against Pakistan in the recent ODI series, England Cricketers have climbed a few places up in the ICC ODI Player Rankings. Amongst the players who did exceptionally well in the series is Jos Buttler. With this, Buttler became the second highest-ranked batsman for England following Joe Root who is in the 16th spot after his 145 runs in the series. James Taylor also elevated up in the ranking as the 25-year-old skipped 21 places in the list to obtain his career-best 36 th position. The other two cricketers who saw their ICC ranking go up are opener Jason Roy and Alex Hales. Roy moved 12 places up and is currently ranked 88 in the list while Hales skipped 27 places and is now ranked as 97 th.
