Imad Wasim has been dismissed by Jordan and a Peshawar win is now just a formality! The score for Karachi Kings read 151/7 in the 19 overs. Karachi still need 31 runs off the final over, which is next to impossible with the tailenders out there in the middle.

  • 1:14 AM IST

OUT! Imad Wasim c Hafeez b Jordan 24(19)

  • 1:10 AM IST

    Here’s how Pollard fell:

  • 1:08 AM IST

That, ladies and gentlemen, in all probability, is the end of Karachi’s hopes!

The big man chases a delivery wide outside off and ends up edging it straight to the keeper Kamran Akmal. Pollard scores 47, and this should close the game for Peshawar.

  • 1:06 AM IST

Kieron Pollard c Kamran Akmal b Wahab Riaz 47 (26)

  • 1:05 AM IST

After 3 tight balls, Wahab Riaz delivers a loosener, which Pollard dispatches for a boundary. Karachi still in the hunt.

  • 1:01 AM IST

Wonderful 17th over by Hasan Ali; gives away just 6 runs off it. Karachi now need 45 off 18 balls. The task is a steep one, but certainly not impossible to get. More so, with Pollard still out there in the middle.

  • 12:54 AM IST

  • 12:52 AM IST

Imad Wasim gets a six off Hasan Ali’s bowling; Karachi Kings are now 124/5 after 15 overs, need 58 off last 30 balls to seal a date with Quetta Gladiators in final on Sunday at Lahore. Watch Imad’s six here:

  • 12:45 AM IST

71 runs required off 36 balls for Karachi Kings to win this game & proceed to the final. With Pollard in the middle, it is pretty much possible.

  • 12:44 AM IST

Pollard’s batting on 40 off 18 balls.. 3 sixes and as many fours. Here’s one of his towering sixes:

  • 12:43 AM IST

Karachi Kings 111/5 in 14 overs. Pollard is dealing in boundaries now..

  • 12:36 AM IST

Pollard playing a lone hand & keeping the Karachi hopes alive!

  • 12:32 AM IST

Gayle was lucky in the over early on. A Wahab Riaz delivery took an inside edge of his bat, hit the stumps and then ran away for a boundary, as the bails refused to come out. Gayle won on that occasion. However, Riaz had the last laugh, as a fast yorker dislodged the bails soon after. With this wicket, Karachi’s hopes of making it to the final are getting bleaker…

  • 12:28 AM IST

OUT! Chris Gayle b Wahab Riaz 40 (31)

  • 12:28 AM IST

    And the second one here:

  • 12:27 AM IST

Gayle is slowly getting into the groove. He has hit Afridi for two long sixes… Watch the first one here:

  • 12:26 AM IST

The 11th over of the innings was West Indies vs West Indies… Darren Sammy delivered the over while two of his best buddies Gayle and Pollard were at the crease. So who won the duel? 15 runs came off his over, including a six and a four. Guess you know the answer…

Hello, good evening and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket coverage of the third Qualifier in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017, to be played between the on-song Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi. Surprising one and all, the Karachi Kings have emerged as one of the most dangerous teams in the ongoing PSL 2017, while the Peshawar Zalmi will have to be wary of the Kumar Sangakkara-led side. The third Qualifier of PSL 2017 will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. This is Rohan Arun Sawant bringing you the live cricket scores and updates of what promises to be a thrilling contest in the race to the final. Imran Khan: Hosting PSL 2017 Final in ‘curfew like situation’ would dampen PAK’s image

Karachi Kings have stormed into the third Qualifier after they defeated the defending champions Islamabad United by 44 runs in a low-scoring encounter. In the second Qualifier, it appeared that all doors were closed for the Karachi Kings who were shot out for a mere 126 in 19.4 overs batting first. However, Mohammad Aamer, Imad Wasim and Usama Mir combined to hunt down the big guns of the Islamabad United, registering one of the most shocking victories in recent times. PSL a launchpad for young Pakistan players, says Usama Mir

Chasing a moderate target of 127, Islamabad United were bowled out for a mere 82 in 15.2 overs. Each among Aamer, Imad and Mir claimed 3 wickets, and Karachi produced an upset of sorts after having hobbled all along the tournament. Their shocking victory over Islamabad United would have certainly put the Peshawar Zalmi on their guard, as the format’s unpredictability and Karachi Kings’ sudden burst into form may end their progress in the tournament as well. PSL 2017: Afridi hints at Sammy’s availability for final in Lahore if PZ qualify

On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi will draw a lot of confidence from their previous game even though it resulted in a defeat for them. They will be wary of what Karachi Kings can do. Peshawar Zalmi, on the other hand, lost by a mere one run in a high-scoring match against Quetta Gladiators. Chasing 200 to win, Peshawar Zalmi were bowled out for 199 in 20 overs, with the efforts of Dawid Malan, Mohammad Hafeez and Shahid Afridi going in vain. Peshawar will believe they are the better side, and will aim to progress into the final with a win over the unpredictable Karachi Kings.
