Rilee Rossouw is looking in a sublime touch and his skipper Sarfraz Ahmed is playing the role of second fiddle perfectly. They are knocking the ball around the park taking singles and doubles whenever they can and also they are not sparing any loose deliveries. All loose deliveries have been dispatched to the boundary ropes with perfection. This partnership has gone up to 88 runs. The Gladiators still require 42 off last 5 overs.

Good Evening! Hello and Welcome to Cricket Country’s live coverage of the fifth match of the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017. The game will see Quetta Gladiators lock horns with Karachi Kings at Dubai on Saturday. PSL 2017 kicked off in a sparkling fashion on Thursday. Till now, the finalists from the previous edition, Islamabad United and Gladiators, are off the mark after tasting success in their first outing. On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi also emerged victorious in their first game, whereas Karachi Kings and Lahore Gladiators ended up as the losing sides. Kings will be itching to win their first game when they take on Sarfraz Ahmed’s side.

Gladiators played their first game on Friday when they faced Lahore Qalandars. Their batting crumbled under the disciplined bowling attack of Qalandars. Rilee Rossouw saved them with a 60-run knock and took their score to 136 for 9. Gladiators defended the total in style by chipping in with regular wickets. Zulfiqar Babar, Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz shared wickets to take their side to an 8-run win.

On the other hand, Kings faltered in their opening encounter versus Peshawar Zalmi. Kings were restricted for 118 for 7 in 20 overs, as the opponents chased down the total in 18.3 overs with 7 wickets in hand. Gladiators are favourites even though their batting collapsed, whereas Kings will have to pull up their socks and perform in all departments to spring victory.
