Hello and welcome to CricketCountry‘s live blog of the fourth day of the Ranji Trophy 2014-15 quarter-finals. There are only three matches left in this round, which are between Delhi versus Mumbai, Karnataka vs Assam and Vidarbha versus Tamil Nadu.

Anupam Sanklecha (4/19) and Shrikant Mundhe (2/17) bowled Maharashtra into the semi-finals of Ranji Trophy, beating Andhra Pradesh by 75 runs in a quarter-finals clash. Maharashtra set the opposition a 177-run target but their pacers, led by Sanklecha and Shrikant Mundhe, then skittled Andhra out for 101 to bowl their side to victory, PTI Reported.

At Cuttack, Akhil Herwadkar (161) and Shreyas Iyer (82) put Mumbai in an advantageous position, reaching 376 for seven on the third day against Delhi.

Fine bowling by medium pacer Aswin Crist (3 for 47) helped Tamil Nadu take an upper hand by reducing Vidarbha to 206 for six on the third day of their Ranji Trophy 2014-15 quarter-final match at Jaipur on Wednesday. In reply to Tamil Nadu’s first innings total of 403, Vidarbha were struggling when the bails were taken off with Ravi Jangid unbeaten on 26. The third day’s play was called off after the fall of Urvesh Patel’s (31) wicket. Vidarbha still trail Tamil Nadu by 197 runs with only four wickets in hand.
