Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog of the fourth day’s play in Round 7 of the Ranji Trophy 2014-15. We will be bringing you updates from all 12 Ranji Trophy matches of this round.  Baroda took a slender first innings lead against Karnataka, which may prove pivotal, although with a day to go and a star-studded batting line-up boosted by the inclusion of KL Rahul, Karnataka will fancy their chances of an outright win. Karnataka are one top of the ladder in group A with 28 points, Baroda on the other hand are placed third with 15 points. READ: Ishank Jaggi’s exclusive interview

In group B Vidarbha will endeavour to push for an outright win after conceding a first innings lead to Gujarat. Delhi, who are table toppers find themselves slightly behind the eight ball in their match against Maharashtra in Pune. Captain Gautam Gambhir kept them in the game with typically dogged 94 but Maharashtra earned a 23-run first innings lead. Bengal are playing out what’s turning out to be a bit of a stalemate with couple of days already lost due to fog in Ghaziabad against Uttar Pradesh. They are 141 for four with a day’s cricket left.
