Good Morning, शुभ प्रभात! Hello and Welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog session of Day Two of Round Three of the Ranji Trophy 2017-18 on Tuesday. We at CricketCountry will be bringing to you the live updates from the matches. This round witnesses the clash of two domestic giants in Mumbai and Tamil Nadu. Other teams like Karnataka, defending champions Gujarat, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh are also in action.

For Mumbai it was the 17-year-old Prithvi Shaw that grabbed headlines on Day one. He slammed his third First-Class ton for Mumbai. Shaw was supported by Sheryas Iyer. Mumbai are well placed at 314 for 7 at start of second day. Piyush Chawla ran riot within Jammu & Kashmir’s batting. The UP leg-spinner nabbed his 22nd five-fer to put his side in command.

After Karnataka batsmen failed miserably, it was Krishnappa Gowtham that kept them in the hunt with a 2-for. Mohammed Siraj rattled Karnataka’s top-order to bits to pick a 4-wicket haul. Courtesy Stuart Binny, karnataka managed 183 runs. In reply, Hyderabad are 51 for 3.

Punjab too are in a commanding position against Goa after hundreds from Jiwanjot Singh and Anmolpreet Singh. While Jiwanjot smacked a double-ton, Anmolpreet is looking good for one.

There is no Harbhajan Singh or Yuvraj Singh for Punjab.
