Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog of the fifth day’s play at Port Elizabeth between South Africa and the West Indies here. This is Ayush Gupta, and I will be bringing you the updates of the match.

West Indies finished Day 4 on 275 for the loss of nine against South Africa piling on twin blistering centuries from Marlon Samuels and opener, Kraig Brathwaite. They remained the highest scorer for West Indies with a score of 101 and 106 respectively. Catch the live streaming of the match here

The West Indies batsmen were going well on Day 4 as the session began after lunch following rain interruption. However, just after scoring their respective centuries, both were dismissed in consecutive deliveries bringing an end to the 179-run stand for the third wicket.

The batsmen following them couldn’t do much as the post lunch session saw a total collapse and in no time, West Indies lost five wickets and were down to the final pair of their innings when rain saved them again and the day finished 10 overs short.

Start delayed due to rain.
