LIVE CRICKET SCORE Sri Lanka 132/4 in 18 Overs (Target 163 in 26 overs); BATTING: Danushka Gunathilaka 12(17), Milinda Siriwardana 7(7): Sri Lanka may have lost three quick wickets but the damage done by Dilshan early on still keeps Sri Lanka in driver’s seat. Sri Lanka may be five wickets down but their required run rate is just 3.87.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE Sri Lanka 89/1 in 10 Overs (Target 163 in 26 overs); BATTING: Tillakaratne Dilshan 54(26), Lahiru Thirimanne 15(16): Dilshan is batting at an incredible rate and has Thirimanne for company at the other end but he is in charge of the show. He has gone past fifty at a strike-rate of almost 200. The required run rate is now below five and this is as good as a lost cause for the Sri Lankans.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE West Indies 159/8 in 26 Overs; BATTING: Denesh Ramdin 9(5): West Indies have put up a respectable total of 159 on the board and have a chance of defending the total if their bowlers do well. Jason Holder played a much needed cameo of 36 from just 13 deliveries and ensure a safe total. Rain has played a huge part in this game. Sri Lanka should be able to chase down this total as they have enough overs to play and are well aware of the target. They have a good batting line up and with the run rate demanding of almost six runs per over it is a challenging task. OUT! Carlos Brathwaite b Ajantha Mendis 9(6)

OUT Jason Holder run out Kusal Perera 36(13)

LIVE CRICKET SCORE West Indies 120/6 in 23 Overs; BATTING: Carlos Brathwaite 8(4), Jason Holder 7(2): Andre Russell departs for 41 after providing a much needed momentum. West Indies need to score big and get more 50 runs from here on. Carlos Brathwaite has walked into the middle and will have a huge role to play. As the pitch is now favouring batting, they need to put up a respectable total on the board and give their bowlers a fighting chance. Darren Bravo too walks back to the pavilion as Ajantha Mendis gets the better of him.  OUT! Andre Russell c Danushka Gunathilaka b Angelo Mathews 41(24)

OUT! Darren Bravo b Ajantha Mendis 32(58)

LIVE CRICKET SCORE West Indies 100/4 in 21 Overs; BATTING: Darren Bravo 35(54), Andre Russell 41(22): With more 5 overs to go West Indies will look to pile maximum runs they can. The good news is Lasith Malinga has bowled out his quota and Sri Lanka is yet to bowl their fifth over. It’s a golden opportunity for West Indies to capitalise on this and make the utmost use of the situation.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE West Indies 84/4 in 19 Overs; BATTING: Darren Bravo 28(50), Andre Russell 34(14): West Indies after a slow start have now switched their gears and runs have started to flow for them. LIVE CRICKET SCORE West Indies 38/3 in 13 Overs; BATTING: Darren Bravo 18(34), Jonathan Carter 7(14): Sri Lanka have stiffening the loop around West Indies with their terrific bowling display. Darren Bravo and Jonathan Carter playing out the pumped bowling attack and they need to stick to their grounds and sail the West Indian ship from choppy waters. Once they get their eye in, runs will start to flow. They have an aggressive middle-order and need to lay a foundation for them to capitalise upon.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE West Indies 24/3 in 8 Overs; BATTING: Darren Bravo 11(17), Jonathan Carter 0(0): Darren Bravo and Marlon Samuels were cautiously playing out the new ball before Samuels innings was cut short by Suranga Lakmal. He was trapped again as the on-field umpire ruled it out but Samuel referred it. The decision remain unchanged and Samuels has to take a walk back to the pavilion. West Indies are in a deep trouble and need to stabilize. They need a quiet partnership of 50 odd runs to steady the ship. West Indies in all sorts of trouble at the moment and need a good partnership to weather the early storm. As the conditions are conducive for bowling, Sri Lankan bowlers should look to chip as many wickets as possible with the new ball. Sri Lanka have two debutants Shehan Jayasuriya and Danushka Gunathilaka. OUT! Johnson Charles lbw Suranga Lakmal 1(2)

OUT! Andre Fletcher c Tillakaratne Dilshan b Suranga Lakmal 3(15)

Toss: Sri Lanka have won the toss and elected to field first. The match will be played for full 50 overs as there isn’t any reduction in play due to rain.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE Sri Lanka vs West Indies: Match delayed due to rain. It’s pouring heavily at Colombo at the moment and the sky looks grey. Both the teams are desperate to get on the field for some breathtaking action but the rain gods have other ideas. Hopefully, the rain stops and we can have some cricket played in the Sri Lankan island.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE Sri Lanka vs West Indies: Toss delayed due to wet outfield. The covers are on as there is a slight drizzle

West Indies would gain some momentum from their win in the tour match against Sri Lanka Board President’s XI on Thursday. Andre Russell and Sunil Narine are the two key players who have been drafted into the side. Both these players can win their team a match single-handedly on their day. They bat deep and have a well-oiled bowling attack. Sri Lanka will definitely have a tough time against them with the white ball.

Sri Lanka on the other hand will be bolstered with confidence after whitewashing the visitors in the two-match Test series. Sri Lanka have not won an ODI series in their previous two encounters against New Zealand and Pakistan. They will take this as a great chance to register one fine victory and further give themselves a great chance to conquer the series.
