BANGood Morning! Hello, and Welcome to Cricket Country’s coverage of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Women’s Asia Cup T20 2016. This is Match No. 5 and Thailand Women take on the Bangladesh Women. Here you will get all the live updates of the match. The match will be played at the Asian Institute of Technology Ground, Bangkok. Both the teams have played their first match of the tournament against India and came out as the losing side. Bangladesh is currently lying at the bottom of the table while their opposition Thailand is placed just above them.

This match has a lot of impetus riding on it as both teams are placed at the bottom of the table. Bangladesh are the bottom due to their poor Net Run Rate (NRR) which is currently -3.200 while their opponents Thailand have the NRR of -2.819. Both teams have played one match in the tournament so far which was against India, and have come out as the losing side. Thailand when played against India, were restricted to paltry 69 runs for the loss of 5 wickets, which India chased down comfortably 11.1 overs.

Bangladesh when played against India, lost the contest by a huge margin of 64 runs. India eves had posted a target of 119 runs which while chasing were bowled out for just 54 runs. Both teams would be looking to kick-off the tournament with a win after the defeat in the opener. The final of the tournament is scheduled to be played on December o4 at the Asian Institute of Technology Ground, Bangkok and the way these two teams have performed, they would definitely be eager to set things right and perform to the best of their ability to qualify for the finals.
