Amigo! Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the first of the two-match Twenty-20 International (T20I) series between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, I’m Paulami Chakraborty and I will be bringing you the live updates of the game. Afghanistan are running high on confidence after registering their first-ever ODI series win over a top cricketing nation, as they beat Zimbabwe 3-2 in the five match One-Day International (ODI) series. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, who had a pleasant outing against Ireland last month, would indeed be disappointed, losing to an associate nation. However, they would be all set to bounce back in the T20I series, and the format being a different ball game, Afghanistan should not get much carried away by the ODI win.
