The fourth One-Day International (ODI) of the four-match series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka promises to be a thrilling affair. All three matches so far have been one sided affairs with New Zealand dominating the first two but Sri Lanka coming back to haunt them in the third ODI. Sri Lanka will be suddenly confident of their chances of staying alive in this series after their sangfroid display in the third match after getting royally thrashed in the first couple of games. New Zealand will want to shirk off disappointment of the defeat to bounce back and lay claim to the series. FULL SCORECARD: New Zealand vs Sri Lanka 2015, 4th ODI at Nelson

Sri Lanka will have to go for the win in order to stay alive in the series. New Zealand have been given a harsh reminder that Sri Lanka remain a formidable ODI side despite the heavy defeats they faced. New Zealand batted first in the previous game to score about 276 runs in their 50 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Sri Lanka got past the target with little trouble.

Tillakaratne Dilshan brought his experience into play scoring 91 runs at almost run-a-ball. He was given support by fellow opener Danushka Gunathilaka who was in a rampaging mood and cashed in on the flat pitch to score a quickfire 65 to get Sri Lanka to a strong start. Adam Milne, Tim Southee and Doug Bracewell were all very expensive going at over 7 an over. The home team sorely missed the service of Matt Henry who had been rested for the game.
