Half-centuries from Jonathan Trott and Alastair Cook and significant contributions from Ian Bell, Jonny Bairstow and Ravi Bopara helped England beat India by six wickets with the help of Duckworth Lewis method in the fifth and final One-Day International at Cardiff. India remained winless on the tour as England won the five-match ODI series 3-0.

Chasing a revised target of 241 from 34 overs, England scored 241 for four to win the match with 10 balls to spare.

A 79-run partnership between Cook and Trott revived England when R Vinay Kumar jolted them early dismissing Craig Kieswetter for 21.

Another rain interruption meant the score, which was revised to 270 from 47 overs, was once against set at 241 runs required from 34 overs.
