HIGHLIGHTS, Live IPL 2017 Score, KXIP vs DD, Match 36: KXIP win by 10 wickets

Hello, good afternoon and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket blog and updates post for the 36th match in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017, between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). This is Paulami Chakraborty, and I will be bringing you the live cricket scores and updates of the clash which will be played at IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. This will be the second game to be hosted in Mohali this season. Their earlier games were hosted in Indore. DD are languishing at the bottom of the points table, whereas KXIP have won only three of their seven games so far to stand at the 6th spot. KXIP started their IPL 10 campaign on a high. It looked like they would continue to remain in the top 4 of the points table, but a dip in form pushed them down the ladder. With 4 consecutive defeats, KXIP finally regained momentum against Gujarat Lions (GL) in match 26. Nonetheless, they again slipped against defending champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), thereby showing their inconsistency. With the inclusion of Darren Sammy, they would like to address their bowling woes and add more depth to the side with the West Indian’s all-round skills.
On the other hand, DD continue to disappoint in another IPL season. They, too, started on a positive note winning two out of their first three encounters. Nonetheless, they have failed to capitalise on key moments and finish games against some top sides. Reeling at the eighth spot, it is a do-or-die clash for Zaheer Khan’s side if they have to pick the lying pieces and stand any chance of making it to the playoffs.
Both sides’ last match resulted in a one-sided affair with DD having the last laugh.
