  • 12:17 AM IST

KKR 161/7 in 20 overs | SRH win by 48 runs | Kaul bowls the final over of the match. KKR do nothing but ensure that they add as many runs as possible. The four down to third man will certainly help KKR’s net run-rate but have been out of this competition since the wicket of Uthappa and Pandey. Nevertheless, this is an excellent win for SRH. They keep the top two teams on their toes with this win.

  • 12:12 AM IST

KKR 154/6 in 19 overs, Target 210: Bhuvi bowls the penultimate over. He has been excellent throughout the tournament. He bowls this over full and swinging into the batsman’s pads. They are not able to get a good part of the bat to the ball. OUT! Jackson holes out at deep mid-wicket for 16 off 17. Just 5 runs and a wicket from that over.

  • 12:07 AM IST

KKR 149/5 in 18 overs, Target 210: Mohammed Siraj bowls his final over. SIX! A few dots and a slow ball from Siraj is picked by de Grandhomme and the balls sails into deep mid-wicket. 11 from that over. KKR need 61 from 12.

  • 12:03 AM IST

KKR 138/5 in 17 overs, Target 210: Bhuvneshwar Kumar returns. Colin de Grandhomme is the new batsman for KKR. FOUR! he is off the mark with a boundary to fine leg. Barring that boundary, Bhuvi leeps it down to just singles. Just 8 off that over. Required run rate now exactly 24.

  • 11:58 PM IST

KKR 130/5 in 16 overs, Target 210: Rashid continues. Huge appeal for caught behind against Jackson, umpire was unmoved. Again, no boundaries. Rashid bowls a good over again. OUT! Rashid is rewarded with the wicket of Pathan as well. Pathan closes the face of the bat too soon and Kaul at short third man takes a simple catch. He finishes his spell with figures of 1 for 38. Pathan dismissed for 12 off 13. And it’s time for the strategic time-out.

  • 11:53 PM IST

KKR 122/4 in 15 overs, Target 210: Siddharth Kaul returns to the attack. KKR need over 15 to win from here. Brilliant over from Kaul. Pathan not able to get under any delivery. As a result, KKR manage to get just 4 from this over. Required run rate has gone past 17 now. A few more overs like this and KKR will have no chance of winning. Chances look bleak as it is.

  • 11:48 PM IST

KKR 118/4 in 14 overs, Target 210: Rashid into the attack. KKR not being able to do much here. They need at least a couple of boundaries every over, but are getting just the singles and the occasional two. SRH have fielded really well as well. But Jackson drives the ball through covers to finish with 8 from that over.

  • 11:45 PM IST

KKR 110/4 in 13 overs, Target 210: Siraj back into the attack. OUT! SRH get the wicket of Uthappa, a big one at this stage. Uthappa was looking to clear long ff, but finds Warner at the fence. he has to walk back for 53 off 28. Sheldon Jackson is the new batsman. KKR need over 14 an over to win from here. Just 3 runs and a wicket from that over.

  • 11:38 PM IST

KKR 107/3 in 12 overs, Target 210: Henriques continues. SIX! Slow delivery from Henriques and Uthappa foes big over deep mid-wicket. Yusuf Pathan is the new batsman for KKR. He has had a poor season so far. This is perhaps his time to shine. SIX! Uthappa goes again and in the same direction. He brings up his fifty off just 25 deliveries. It has been a good innings from him so far. 17 coming off that over.

  • 11:33 PM IST

KKR 90/3 in 11 overs, Target 210: Bhuvneshwar Kumar brought back into the attack. Still no boundaries for KKR. They need as many as possible, considering that the required run-rate has now gone past 13 an over. Uthappa and Pandey’s partnership has finally been broken as Pandey plays the ball straight back to Bhuvi. Pandey dismissed for 39 off 29. 8 runs and a wicket from that over.

  • 11:28 PM IST

KKR 82/2 in 10 overs, Target 210: Bipul Sharma bowls his first over. Required run-rate well over 12 now. Neither batsmen able to time the ball properly. As a result just getting runs in singles and twos. But KKR manage to get 10 from the over.

  • 11:22 PM IST

KKR 72/2 in 9 overs, target 210: Rashid Khan bowls his 2nd over. SIX! Uthappa immediately goes after him. Smashes the ball into the crowd at deep mid-wicket. Brilliant start to the over for KKR. Also brings up the fifty stand off just 34 deliveries. FOUR! Uthappa rocks back and pulls the ball to the long on boundary. Big over for KKR. Need many more such overs. 14 runs coming from this over. Time for the strategic time out.

  • 11:18 PM IST

KKR 58/2 in 8 overs, Target 210: And we’re back! Henriques bowls the first over after the break. KKR need some big overs here. Just ones and twos will not do for them. Henriques not giving away anything. Brilliant over from Henriques, just 6 singles from the over.

  • 11:13 PM IST

  • 10:28 PM IST

KKR 52/2 in 7 overs, Target 210: Rashid Khan introduced into the attack. SIX! What a welcome to the crease for Rashid. A wrong one, Uthappa picks it and deposits it into the crowd at deep mid-wicket. 50 up for KKR with that. Hint of rain at Hyderabad. The ground staff getting ready with the covers, but they don’t come on as yet. A good over for SRH, 8 off it.

  • 10:24 PM IST

KKR 44/2 in 6 overs, Target 210: Moises Henriques to bowl the 6th over. Henriques does not give much room to the batsmen. In fact, bowls into the batsman’s body on good length, making it difficult to free their arms. But the last ball is a slower delivery and Pandey finds the gap at deep mid-wicket. 8 off that over.

  • 10:20 PM IST

KKR 36/2 in 5 overs, Target 210: Kaul continues. FOUR! Pandey goes straight past min-on. Most of the boundaries for KKR have come in that region today. FOUR! This time Pandey smashes it past the bowler, into the long off fence. 11 from that over from Kaul.

  • 9:58 PM IST

KKR 9/0 in 1 over, Target 210: Sunil Narine and Gautam Gambhir set to open the innings for KKR. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has the new ball in his hand. A similarity between both the teams is that they have produced all-round performances throughout this season. KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir is in a supreme form and scoring runs consistently, he currently dons the Orange Cap. Apart from Gambhir, Manish Pandey, Robin Uthappa are the other batsmen who have shone in the previous matches. One of the biggest concerns for KKR was to replace an in-form Chris Lynn who was ruled out due to injury. The team found the perfect replacement in Sunil Narine, who has surprised all with his brisk starts with his power hitting. The bowling boasts of names like Nathan Coulter-Nile, Chris Woakes and Colin de Grandhomme. Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders, IPL 2017, Match 37 Preview

In the batting department, they have skipper David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Kane Williamson and Yuvraj Singh, four experienced and able players. With most of the players of both the sides in very good form, the match is expected to be a close contest. IPL 2017: Hogg backs Kuldeep for ICC Champions Trophy 2017
