Ambati Rayudu scored a cautious 36 to help Mumbai Indians beat Trinidad and Tobago by one wicket in their Pool A Champions League Twenty20 match at Bengaluru.

Rayudu hit three boundaries in his innings of 36 off 47 balls to help Mumbai chase down the target in overs.

Ravi Rampaul took three and Sunil Narine took two as T&T fought back after they were bowled out for 98 in 16.2 overs.

Skipper Harbhajan Singh ran through the Trinidad & Tobago batting order taking three wickets for 22 as the Caribbean side was bowled out for 98 in their Champions League T20 group stage match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Harbhajan, who faced a lot of flak in past few months over his form, led from front and bagged the key wickets of Darren Bravo, Denesh Ramdin and Sherwin Ganga

After making a confident start, Trinidad & Tobago kept losing wickets in quick succession and were restricted to 98.

Mumbai pacer Lasith Malinga chipped in as well with two wickets for 22 in his spell of four overs.
