India vs Zimbabwe 1st ODI 2022 Highlights And Latest Match Updates – Zimbabwe have been bowled out for 189. This is a disappointing outing from the hosts after the highs of the Bangladesh series. None of the batters could resist the Indian bowling. A late 70 run partnership between Richard Ngavara and Brad Evans pushed ZIM to near 200 but that is not going to be enough.

Indian bowlers were exceptional. Deepak Chahar blew away the top order with three wickets, while Axar Patel, Prasidh Krishna  also picked three wickets each to put India in a commanding position.

Zimbabwe have lost eight wickets after Deepak Chahar, Prasidh Krishna, Axar Patel and Mohammed Siraj combined together to pull off a stunning bowling display.

Chahar, Siraj and Krishna have been spot on today. Chahar rattled the top order with three wickets while Siraj also sent the experienced Sean Williams back. Now Prasidh Krishna has removed the in form batter Sikandar Raza and Ryan Burl.

Deepak Chahar has rattled Zimbabwe top order with three wickets. Mohammed Siraj as also got a wicket. India are on top and things look gloomy for Zimbabwe early on.

After a good start by ZIM, Deepak Chahar has given India a big breakthrough. Innocent Kaia, who scored a century against Bangladesh, has been removed.

It has been a good start by Zimbabwe openers Innocent Kaia and T Marumani. Deepak Chahar and Mohammed Siraj have missed their lines on quite a few occasions and have given extra runs. Zimbabwe will be happy with the start.

KL Rahul-led India will take on Zimbabwe in the first ODI at the Harare Sports Club. India have won their last two ODI series against England and West Indies and are high on confidence. While players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested, Shikhar Dhawan, Deepak Hooda, Sanju Samson and Deepak Chahar provide enough quality in the team.

Meanwhile, Regis Chakabva-led Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh in the last ODI series. Sikandar Raza scored two centuries while Innocent Kaia and Chakabva scored one hundred to guide their team to a win. There were vital contributions from Ryal Burl and Luke Jongwe as well.
