The visitors were trailing Pakistan’s score of 351 by 102 runs.The New Zealand batsmen began the offensive on the Pakistan bowlers from the word ‘go’, with McCullum going for the big hits from the early stages of the Kiwi reply, taking his side to a 50-run opening stand in no time at all.
