Another RPS player has sustained an injury and is ruled out of the remaining matches. All-rounder Mitchell Marsh has joined the injured club with Kevin Pietersen and Faf du Plessis. All these T20 stalwarts have been in Dhoni’s playing XI. With these men out of action, RPS have found themselves in deep trouble. Good news for RPS fans is that Australia’s destructive batsman Usman Khawaja is likely to join the team. However, Albie Morkel and Thisara Perera have put up a decent show but weren’t able to take the team over the line.
MI, on the other hand, have eventually solidified their team composition and have been playing well as a cohesive unit. All in all, it promises to be a cracker of contest as MI will look to avenge the loss they suffered at the hands of RPS in the tournament opener.
