Sri Lanka take on England in the sixth One-Day International (ODI) of the series with the series with the hosts having a slight advantage, leading the series 3-2 with two games to play. Sri Lanka will be looking to clinch the series today, England will have to win the match so stay alive in the series. This ODI will take place at Pallekele, the same venue England eased home by five wickets in a rain-hit match thanks to a Joe Root ton and a a half-century by James Taylor.

England will look to carry the momentum from the previous match and look to stay alive in the tournament. Chris Woakes’ career best figures of 6/47 will give him a major boost going into this crucial game. Sri Lanks’s top order has been on a decent run and will again look to their star batsmen Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene to fire. England will be hopeful that their captain Alastair Cook returns to form and hope that Root, Taylor and Woakes continue where they left off.
