Zimbabwean player Malcolm Waller is the latest off-spinner to be reported for a suspect bowling action following the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) lockdown on suspect action s over the last year. Waller, who played the second Test between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, must test his bowling action within the next three weeks.

According to an ICC press release, a report by the match officials following the conclusion of the second Test at Khulna, mentioned that his bowling could be the subject of an illegal action. Once tested, Waller will be allowed to continue bowling in all formats of the game till such time as the results return.

Earlier this year, bowlers such as Saeed Ajmal, Sachithra Senanayake, Al-Amin Hossain, Prosper Utseya, Kane Williamson, and Sohag Gazi were all reported with suspect actions. Since that time Gazi and Hossain have been cleared.
