Sri Lanka coach Trevor Bayliss has informed that ace fast bowler Lasith Malinga is fit to play in the World Cup Group A match against Kenya on Tuesday, March 1.
Malinga missed two World Cup games against Canada and Pakistan due to strain in his back, and is now completely fit to lead the Sri Lankan pace attack.
Bayliss stated that Sri Lanka won’t be complacent playing against Kenya – who has lost their two games in this tournament to Pakistan and New Zealand. He also said that Sri Lanka was a “little off against a very good Pakistan team” and is confident about team’s success in the tournament, according to reports.
