As England and Australia left the field for lunch on Day-2 of the ongoing third Ashes Test at Edgbaston, Robin, one of the spectators proposed his girlfriend Helen on the outfield of the Birmingham ground. The official twitter account of Warwickshire Country Cricket Club posted a picture of the couple with the caption, “She said yes, Helen and Robin are engaged”. The hosts were 221 with the loss of seven wickets and were ahead of Australia by 85 runs after the latter got bowled out for 136 in their first innings on the opening day of the match. Day-1 of the third game turned out to be a catastrophe for the visitors, who sorely wanted their bowlers to deliver right from ball one of the next day. And to their very delight, Mitchell Johnson pushed himself ahead with two wickets in his very first over on Thursday. In a matter of three deliveries he removed Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes with ferocious short balls that left the batsmen hopping in their crease.

With the play going on now, England are 254/7, leading by 118 runs. READ: Mitchell Johnson completes 300 wickets in Test cricket
