The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) managing committee meeting chaired by President Sharad Pawar decided to donate Rs 1 crore to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ drought relief fund on Thursday. According to Times of India, another source said, We discussed various ways in which the MCA can help, including giving the proceeds of the forthcoming India-South Africa ODI (on October 25), and organising a benefit match. In the end, this was the most preferred choice.
