Vaughan accepts Broad's 'Ice Bucket Challenge'

Aug 21, 2014
Michael Vaughan became the latest cricketer to join the international Trend of the ‘Ice Bucket Challenge‘ after he accepted the challenge from Stuart Broad. In a post on Instagram, he was getting warmed up for the challenge, which has become a rage all over the world by now.
In an earlier tweet, Broad was seen performing the act following which he nominated the former England captain Vaughan along with team mate Joe Root and British television and radio presenter Greg James. Root has already responded with video showing him a jar of ice-cold water poured over his head and has now passed the challenge to cricketers James Anderson, Neil Fairbrother and Ryan Sidebottom.
The Ice Bucket Challenge is an activity that became an international sensation in the summer of 2014. It involves a person getting challenged to get a bucket of ice-cold water poured over his head or donate money for a charitable cause. While the donations in the USA was for the ALS association, the challenges in the United Kingdom were made in the name of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, a sister organization of the ALS Association.
