In the second Test between Pakistan and Australia at Abu Dhabi, Azhar Ali and Misbah-ul-Haq registered centuries in both of a first class match. This is the fourth instance of such a thing happening. Ali went onto score 109 and 100 not out while Misbah-ul-Haq made 101 not out in both innings.

Misbah, the Pakistan captain, simply annhilated the Aussie bowling attack in the second innings. He made 101 in 57 balls as he destroyed the bowling attack. Pakistan have set Australia a target of 603 in the fourth innings. Misbah equalled the record for the fastest century in Tests with his unbeaten 101. He holds the record with Viv Richards now.
