Misbah-ul Haq, Younis Khan join Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)

Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan has revealed that Test skipper Misbah-ul Haq and veteran batsman Younis Khan have been added in the board’s cricket committee. As per the Dawn, it is for the first time that active players have been included in the committee. Reflecting on the decision, Shahryar said the Board of Governors has taken an extremely important decision as the two players would offer their important inputs on cricket related matters. The 81-year-old felt that the current players are well aware about the modern game and they would provide better ideas to the board. Seamer Chris Woakes grabbed four wickets while James Tylor notched an unbeaten half century to anchor England’s six-wicket win over Pakistan in the third day-night international in Sharjah on Tuesday.  Woakes’s 4-40 skittled Pakistan out for a below-par 208 in 49.5 overs before Taylor scored 67 for his seventh fifty to help England to the target in 41 overs for a 2-1 lead in the four-match series.
