Former Kolkata Knight Riders star and one of the greatest all-rounders of all time. Moeen Ali has reacted to the ongoing controversy between India and Bangladesh involving star pacer Mustafizur Rahman.
However, the controversy was raised after Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders released the Bangladesh star due to the horrifying incident in Bangladesh. They acquired him for Rs. 9.2 crore in the IPL 2026. This was the direct advice given by the BCCI to KKR, as it also created a lot of discussion in the cricket world.
However, this is not the end, as the Bangladesh team involved ICC in it and urged them to shift their matches for the upcoming T20 World Cup from India to Sri Lanka. England star player Moeen Ali shared his opinion on the ongoing incident as he stated that âsomething isnât rightâ. He also said that cricket administrators should focus on bigger than and don’t make such controversies or activities grow.
âThe game is already in a bit of danger regarding these things, and then on top of that, what happened with Mustafizur â honestly, something isn’t right here. Something needs to be done to fix things because it’s not just about Mustafizur. Pakistan, Bangladesh â we all know various issues are going on. It can’t go on like this. These are big problems,” Moeen told bdnews24.
