After much furore over Mohammed Shami s wife s pics on social media, cricketer Mohammad Kaif was found in a fix for performing Suryanamaskar and giving tips on the same. Kaif, who last played for India in 2006, posted few pictures on how Suryanamaskar helps in physical fitness with hashtag #Kaifkefitnessfunde. Kaif had tweeted, Surya Namaskar is a complete workout fr the physical system,a comprehensive exercise form without any need fr equipment. Looks like the funde did not go well with some of the users on the micro-blogging site. He was attacked by some fanatics on the basis of not following Islam. As soon as he was made aware about users criticising his tweet, Kaif provided a prompt response.

 

Kaif replied, In all 4pics,I had Allah in my heart. Can t understand what doing any exercise, Surya Namaskar or Gym has to do with religion. It benefits ALL. In hindsight, Kaif also found some respect from some users, who urged him not pay heed to any remarks. Kaif was recently playing in Ranji Trophy 2016-17 for the new team Chhattisgarh who did not make it to the quarter-final stage and ended as the second-last team in the Group C points table. The attack on Kaif comes a week after Shami was criticised on social media for uploading a family picture that had nothing wrong as per most of the users.

The users found Shami s wife s dress inappropriate and complained she was not seen wearing hijab.

 

However, Shami provided fitting reply to his users, My child and my wife are my companions in life. I exactly know what to do and what not to do for them. We all need to look inside to know how good we are. It was Kaif who stood tall for Shami and tweeted, The comments are really really Shameful. Support Mohammed Shami fully. There are much bigger issues in this country. Hope sense prevails.
