Mohit Sharma got the crucial breakthrough of Aaron Finch with a cleverly disguised slower delivery in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 to give Chennai Super Kings the advantage going into the final overs of their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Ravichandran  Ashwin was brought in for the 16th over and the off-spinner bowled yet another brilliant over to give away only 17 runs from his four overs. Ashwin used the slow surface to his advantage and got plenty of grip and turn that troubled the Hyderabad batsmen.

The wrecker-in-chief Ben Hifenhaus came back into the attack and this time he wasn’t as effective as he bowled some lose deliveries and on one such occasion, got slapped by Darren Sammy for a boundary straight down the ground.

Earlier, Dhawan had won the toss and chosen to bat first on the Sharjah wicket that is known to be conducive for batting. Hyderabad made one change to their line-up, in view of strengthening their bowling attack. Ishant Sharma came in to replace Naman Ojha.
