English bowler Monty Panesar is all set to make a comeback in the Test fold after late night partying antics threatened to derail his career, only a few months ago.
The Mirror stated that, Panesar, just smarting after his divorce, went on self destruction mode after urinating on bouncers at a Brighton nightclub. In September 2013, he was once again reprimanded, for allegedly attempting to kick an opponent.
Panesar is now has a chance of making a comeback during the second Test in spinner friendly conditions at Adelaide, ANI reported.
In the recently concluded game, against the Chairman’s XI, Panesar finished with impressive figures of three for 41 from 19 overs and Graeme Swann scalped four wickets for 56 runs.
Stand-in skipper Ian Bell also indicated that Panesar was certain to be walk into the eleven at Adelaide.
England also have batsman Gary Balance and all-rounder Ben Stokes waiting in the wings.
