Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has paid a courtesy visit to Nepal President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav at the Rastrapati Bhawan in Nepal.

Accompanied by wife Sakshi, Dhoni also visited Maiti Nepal – rehabilitation centre for trafficked women in Kathmandu – besides worshipping at the revered Pashupatinath shrine before wrapping up his two-day visit to the country.

Dhoni, though, could not attend a felicitation programme organised by the Pashupati Area Development Trust, the organisation that looks after the affairs of the Hindu temple.

He was supposed to receive a metal replica of Pashupatinath temple at the function, but had to cut short the programme due to lack of time.
