MS Dhoni to miss 1st Test in Australia, Virat Kohli to lead India

KL Rahul and leg-spinner Karn Sharma have also been included in the Test series.

India have announced the squad for the last two One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against Sri Lanka, as well as their squad for the Test series against Australia. According to reports, MS Dhoni has injured his right fore-arm and will miss the last two ODIs against Sri Lanka as well as at least the first Test against Australia. Virat Kohli will most probably lead the team in his absence.

Kohli, who captained India to a win in their first three ODIs against Sri Lanka, will be leading India in Tests for the very first time. Opening batsman KL Rahul and leg-spinner Karn Sharma have also been included in the Test series.
