MS Dhoni, India’s World Cup winning captain is going to open his own cricket academy in Jharkhand. It is being learnt that the academy will be inaugurated on August 15, 2015 at the industrial city of Bokaro. According to a report published in IndiaToday MSD’s Arca Foundation Trust has signed an agreement with Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro, which allows the academy to function from the school. Besides Dhoni, several other former cricketers are expected to be part of this academy. Apart from learning the pros and cons of the game, in the academy, the aspiring cricketers will be taught the leadership skills as well.

The same media organization also reported that, Dhoni might take over the suspended Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Chennai Super Kings (CSK). According to their sources he might own a team based from his hometown — Ranchi — instead of Chennai.  Nevertheless Dhoni is not new to sports management as he is part of an ISL team (Chennaiyin FC), Ranchi team in Hero Hockey India League (HIL) and FIM Supersport World Championship team (Mahi Racing team India).
