Indian limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni has been one of the most followed sportspersons in India and it is not wrong to assume he has an unbelievable fan following across the globe. MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, a biopic based on his life before becoming a well-known name in India, is easily the most awaited movies in the country. Initially it was set to be realised on September 2, 2016 but due to some issues, the release date has been pushed a little further. The director of the film, Neeraj Pandey has suggested that the release has been postponed because the team wants the movie to be presented in the best possible way. According to Hindustan Times, Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios said, “It was a unanimous decision to release the film on September 30. This would give the team some more time to present the film to the audiences in the best way. We in no way wanted to compromise on the visual experience that Neeraj Pandey is set to create with this movie.”

 

Actor Sushant Singh is seen playing Dhoni’s role in the film. The movie shows the life of Dhoni on and off the field letting the viewers know more about one of the most successful captains India has ever produced. The star cast has Kiara Advani, Herry Tangri, Anupam Kher, Bhoomika Chawla and Disha Patani apart from Sushant. While Kiara will be seen as Sakshi Dhoni, Herry Tangri will play Yuvraj Singh and Anupam Kher will be seen as Pan Singh.
