MS Dhoni‘s residence has come under tighter security as India stare at a potential defeat in the semi-final against Australia in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Australia scored 329 for seven in their first innings and India didn’t put up much of a response after a great opening stand. Live Updates: India vs Australia
But after Shikhar Dhawan got out things started falling apart. Virat Kohli got out cheaply and even Rohit Sharma got out soon after. Suresh Raina couldn’t make too much of an impact on the scoreboard either. Ajinkya Rahane and MS Dhoni put up a spirited fight however, but after Rahane’s wicket India’s loss looked evident. The man himself has shown great resilience and after getting dropped off Michael Clarke in the forties has gone on to register a half century. In bid to keep up with the mounting run rate, Dhoni smashed a couple of sixes to raise hopes again, but got run-out to seal Australia’s victory, India were 231 for seven when Dhoni got out.
