Owned by Ambani-led Reliance Industries, Mumbai Indians has a brand-valuation of $100 million (2017 data).

Mumbai Indians (MI) owner Mukesh Ambani has yet again topped Forbes list of 100 richest Indians ($ 38 billion) for the 11th successive year. Owned Reliance Industries, Mumbai Indians have a brand valuation of $100 million (according to 2017 data). Ambani, however, is not the only Indian Premeir League (IPL) franchise owner in the top 100 list.

Co-owners of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Burman Family (Mohit Burman) and Britannia Industries (Ness Wadia), take 20th and 25th spot respectively. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) owner, Kalanithi Maran, makes an appearance on 29th spot; Maran is the proprietor of Sun TV Network.

Last but not the least, Rising Pune Supergiant s owner Sanjiv Goenka comes in at 73rd place; Goenka runs the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group.

Adding more to the brand-valuation, Shahrukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders' come second with $99 million. Royal Challengers Bangalore come in at No.3 with brand valuation of $88 million.

KXIP are valued at $41 million*, while SRH are valued at $56 million*.
