Mumbai Indians have advanced to the semifinals of the Champions League T20. They are the first team from Group A to advance to the semifinals.

 

Earlier on Tuesday Trinidad & Tobago beat Cape Cobras in a close encounter which made the way for Mumbai franchise to enter the semifinals.

 

Mumbai Indians top the group with five points while T&T are at number 2 position with four points.

 

For T&T to qualify for the semifinals, they will depend on a Chennai Super Kings win over New South Wales on Tuesday. CSK can qualify for semis only if they win by a sufficient margin.
