Kolkata Knight Riders have stabilised after losing the early wicket of Gautam Gambhir in the first game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 against Mumbai Indians. In six overs, Kolkata are 31 for one.
Manish Pandey walked in and was proactive at the crease. When Corey Anderson came to bowl the fourth over, Pandey walked down the track and pulled him in front of mid-wicket for a four and then lofted the next ball high over long-off for a six.
Mumbai Indians have introduced Pragyan Ojha in the sixth over to bring in the spin element.
