Mukesh Ambani has been on the top of the list for eight consecutive years with a net worth estimated to be around $23.6 billion. As being the Chairman, Managing Director and shareholder of Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL), he has a strong affluence all over the country. His company mainly deals with the gas and oil sectors along with petrochemicals and refining.

He also owns one of the biggest natural oil fields of the country. He is also recently reported to be working on a project of building India’s first 4g network to go to 700 cities across the country and that too wireless. Apart from the industrial sector, he is also one of the richest sports owners in the world as he owns Indian Premier League (IPL) professional cricket team, Mumbai Indians.
