Mumbai have lost all their games till now. On the other end, Punjab have won all their games. So, it will be a difficult task for the defending champions to defeat Punjab. Mumbai though, won all their games played at home last year and will be confident of playing at home for sure. The track is expected to be a good batting wicket. Mumbai will expect Rohit Sharma to come out all guns blazing. Their bowling has tended to depend on veterans like Lasith Malinga, Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh. Punjab’s Glenn Maxwell has been in great form. For Mumbai, they have tried out different opening combinations but failed miserably.  Aditya Tare, former Australian batsman Michael Hussey and new signing Ben Dunk, also an Aussie, all failing to get going. The middle-order too hasn’t performed up to expectations. Kieron Pollard though, showed signs of coming back to form in their last game of IPL 7.
