Musheer Khan’s remarkable performance, scoring 131 runs and taking 2 wickets for 10 runs in 3.1 overs, played a crucial role in India’s convincing 214-run win against New Zealand in the first game of the Super Six stage at the 2024 U19 World Cup. Musheer’s innings included a stunning helicopter shot, reminiscent of legendary captain MS Dhoni, making him the leading run-scorer in the tournament.

Executing the helicopter shot in the 46th over, Musheer hit a massive six over deep mid-wicket, showcasing a skill often associated with Dhoni. Interestingly, Dhoni had learned this shot from his childhood friend Santosh Lal, as depicted in his biopic, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’.
