Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President N Srinivasan is expected to step down from his post in Sunday’s emergency meeting of the Working Committee.

After Rajeev Shukla’s exit on Saturday, Srinivasan is left with no choice but to step down in the wake of the spot-fixing and betting saga that has come up in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013, sources told NDTV.

However, Srinivasan has put forth some demands of his own before possibly handing in his resignation and wants assurance that he will be reinstated as board’s president once his name is cleared in the ongoing controversy.

The BCCI on Sunday, is expected to ask Srinivasan to ‘step aside’ unconditionally.
