BCCI president N Srinivasan may quit if evidence is found against his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan who is the CEO of Chennai Super Kings reported Times Now.

Meiyappan will be questioned by Mumbai police for his alleged involvement in betting. He is under the scanner for his proximity to Bollywood actor Vindoo Dara Singh who was arrested for his alleged association with bookmakers.

BCCI sources said that the game of cricket is more important than Srinivasan.

If proof against Gurunath emerges, Srinivasan will have to quit, said sources.

Meiyappan was served directives on Thursday which asked him to present himself before the crime branch between 10 AM and 5 PM on Friday.
