Nathan Lyon surpasses Hugh Trumble to become Australia's leading off-spinner

Nathan Lyon is now the Australia's leading wicket-taking off-spinner after he went passed Hugh Trumble during Day Two of the second Test against West Indies at Kingston, Jamaica. Trumble had 141 wickets in 32 Tests between 1890-1904. Lyon, who is playing his 41st Test has 144 wickets. He dismissed  Darren Bravo for 14 to surpass the former off-spinner. Lyon made is Test debut against Sri Lanka in Galle in 2011. he has ever since been a force to be reckoned with and has been an integral part of Australia's bowling setup. The leading wicket-taker for Australia in Tests happens to be leg-spinner Shane Warne with 708 wickets to his name.
