Neo Sports, the official broadcaster of the India-England One-dayers, has refused to share signals with All India Radio (AIR) of the on-going series.

Neo Sports had demanded that Prasar Bharati should accept a new revenue sharing model in order to receive match signals.

According to reports, AIR shells out $US 6000 per match in order to buy the broadcast rights. This time it offered something better, an amount $US 6250 to Neo Sports which in reply demanded into an agreement of a 50-50 revenue sharing model.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni has now decided to take up the matter with the BCCI.

Recently, Neo Sports and Prasar Bharati had a spat pertaining to the matter of bank guarantee.

The new development in the Neo Sports- Prasar Bharati spat might create a problem for Neo to acquire the broadcast rights of matches to be played in India in the near future.
