Nepal Cricket appoints 32-year- old Binod Das as head coach

Kathmandu: Former Nepal Skipper Binod Das, 32, will replace head coach Pubudu Dassanayeke when the cricket team play against World’s XI on August 9, 2015. Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) is organizing “Bat For Nepal”, a fund-raiser charity match between Nepal and World XI on Sunday, August 9 in Kinrara Oval, Malaysia. The latter, who is going to Canada due to personal reasons, has already informed Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) about the leave. Nepal team is returning to Kathmandu on August 3. According to a report from Nepal Cricket, he executive meeting of the CAN on Saturday, July 25, had appointed Binod Das as the coach and Dhirendra Saud as team manager for the event.
