The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Delhi Daredevils (DD) observed a few moments of silence for the victims of the Nepal Earthquake ahead of their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 match at the Feroz Shah Kotla. The Nepal Earthquake took place on Saturday morning and devastated parts of the mountain nation. India too was jolted by the tremors.

The tremors of the Earthquake were felt in Delhi, Kolkata and some of the other Indian cities in the north and in the east. In fact, there was a big aftershock of the quake on Sunday morning, which was also felt in Delhi. Some of the cricketers had tweeted about feeling the tremors in the city earlier on the day. There was also a game in Kolkata , which had rained off.

On Saturday, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) also observed the silence in memory of the victims. In such testing times, cricketers play a role as ambassadors.
