Netherlands set Nepal a target of 135 in the first T20I at Amstelveen. Opener Stephen Myburgh was the star of the show as his half-century as his innings got the hosts to a respectable total. Now the Netherlands bowlers will have to do their bit to win them the game from here. Nepal will be fairly happy with their performance but they would have wanted to restrict Netherlands to a lesser total after being on top for most of the match. Myburgh and Michael Rippon put on a unbeaten stand of  65 for the sixth wicket and ensured that Netherlands did not fold that easily. Basant Regmi was the pick of the bowlers as he finished with figures of two for 24 in his four overs. Debutant Avinash Karn too did a fine job but he did not any wicket, but was extremely economical. Netherlands kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were five down for 66 at one stage. Their recovery from there has given their bowlers something to bowl at in the end.
