McCullum, who was running high temperature, spent the Thursday night at hospital. According to hospital sources, McCullum is improving but would remain in hospital under observation. He is expected to be discharged on Saturday morning.

New Zealand’s World Cup preparations got a scare after all-rounder Nathan McCullum was been admitted to a local hospital in Chennai following an illness.

 

McCullum, who was running high temperature, spent the Thursday night at hospital. According to hospital sources, McCullum is improving but would remain in hospital under observation. He is expected to be discharged on Saturday morning.

 

The 30-year-old has is now a doubtful starter for New Zealand’s opening World Cup match against Kenya at Chennai on Sunday.
